December 28 of 2017 we've lost one of Spring Tube's leading artists and simply our good friend for years - Rishi K. He was visiting his father in Jordan, both are died when their car collided with a lorry on the Suweimeh-Dead Sea Road. We extend our most sincere condolences to Rishi's family, friends, and fans. With Spring Tube's 236th outing we present you the last release by Rishi K. on our label - "Through The Night". This EP includes his two exclusive original works that he signed us ten months back, as well as two remixes on the title track. First interpretation is provided by our veteran artist and label's constant mastering engineer - Domestic Technology, it's his first new work after a year of hiatus, and it's quality as always from this proficient producer. Whereas the second remix deliver our longstanding residents - Blood Groove & Kikis. Rishi asked us about the remix from these guys a couple of last years, this remix was our surprise for him, and we're sure he would be happy about it, - this version is a real masterpiece. We've contacted Rishi's closest friend Eric (who was with Rishi and his father in the same tragic car accident, and survived), he helped us to connect with Rishi's brother Tamer who generously seconded our idea (with support from Blood Groove & Kikis, Domestic Technology, and B-Max) of giving all proceeds from sales of this release to charity. Eric and Tamer suggested that we can donate to non-profit organization MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies). Rishi interned there during graduate school and also wrote his master's thesis, supported by MAPS, on using syrian rue to treat depression. Rishi and Eric have numerous talks over the years on the promise of psychedelic medicines to treat depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, and many other psychological illnesses. Rishi would be happy to know that his music will funding this organization, if even with a little contribution. Besides a memorable original version from our latest sampler the "Turtle Bay" single includes three different remixes by: two Spring Tube's residents - Marco Grandi and Nio March, who both released with us the great personal EPs earlier this year; and Meloder who returs on Spring Tube after remixing for us two years back, and soon will present his first personal EP on our label. Spring Tube's 190th release is the second full single for the tracks from label's 2016 sampler. This time we go with Rishi K.'s "New Leaf". Karim Gargour aka Rishi K. has an impressive discography with the releases on such a respectable imprints as Perfecto, Pacha, Nervous, Dutchie, Seta, I Records, Ready Mix, Savoir Faire, NuevaDeep, and his own Sonic Soul Records among others. After releasing on Spring Tube two remix works (on Blood Groove & Kikis' "Dice" in 2014, and Claes Rosen's "Wanna Do Right" in 2016) and two personal singles ("Last Love" w/ remixes by Chriss Ronson and Prosis in 2014, and "Melodica" w/ remixes by Harold Heath and Meloder in 2015) this year Rishi presents with us his third single - "New Leaf". Besides the great original in the best traditions of Rishi K.'s signature melodic deep house sound the pack includes two excellent remixes by some of Spring Tube's finest residents - Allende and Adam Byrd, who both did here a very creative work delivering truly unique and interesting interpretations. Spring Tube's 158th release is the first full single for the tracks featured on our 2015 sampler. After releasing with us the hugely successful "Last Love" single (incl. Chriss Ronson, Prosis remixes) in 2014, this year we welcome back the San Francisco's Rishi K. with his brand new single titled "Melodica". Besides the original which is produced in the best traditions of melodic deep house side of Rishi's sound the pack includes two different remixes from the UK. First up is the prominent veteran Harold Heath [Dutchie, Plastic City, Urban Torque, Lost My Dog, Acryl, Savoir Faire, I Records] with true to his unique sound the masterpiece interpretation. And secondly we have Richard Graham aka Meloder [Pole Position, Liquid Grooves, Spirit Soul, UM] with some interesting and diverse vision of the original theme.
