Dima Bilan has a song called "About White Roses." It was released around July 2019. In the instrumental design of the song itself, the arranger tried to retro-sound, since in Russia the phrase "White Roses" is associated with the boom of the eurodisco genre, which was staged in the late 80s by Sergey Kuznetsov, Yuri Shatunov and Andrey Razin. But the retro sound was created on modern instruments, the sound programs of which were simply tweaked to the old style without any fuss, turning the sound that gave rise to many genres of electronic music into a costume for some kind of masquerade. And this situation is happening with almost all bands who want to recreate a retro sound in their compositions. So our label is not engaged in masquerade. We have a real retro sound. We use only real synthesizers from that past era, and those that did not have time to become pop, and which were used very often in Russia in the late 80s and early 90s. And if there is a forced situation to "engage in a masquerade," then for this we use those computer programs that can very clearly recreate this old electric sound. Through their projects and albums, our label demonstrates the correct and true retro sound of that past era, which is not a shame for those who also have warm feelings for old electronic music. And we fundamentally reject the popular modern trends in electronic music that exist now. So if any of you are here looking for and waiting for something in the style of Baby Cute, Dora, Lil Krystall, Lida, LSP, DJ Nik One, INSTASAMKA, etc. - do not look and do not wait. It didn't happen here, it doesn't, and it won't happen here. Because there is an opposition to modern electronic music here.
