Nice and Deep

With his recent and most «uk style» work «Swimming Tools» Moscow-based experienced beatmaker Kirill Chernev aka 21 Outside reflects on the theme of world-wide ocean, soft water and the pleasures of diving underneath the waves. Both space and volume of the tunes are created with by massive dub oscillations, the current velocities varies between chillstep and future garage, while the general mood is kept bright and warm. Depth resolution of tracks transforms the same way as the sea changes on famous photographs by Hiroshi Sugimoto, where the water and sky sometimes contrast and other times merge together. The sweep of tides system inside the tracks, established with Kirill’s intention, makes «Swimming Tools» equally useful as the unit both for the dancefloor and for the early morning walk, ideally on the beach.
