Ruff Cutz Beats - music label. Originally the name Ruff Cutz came from a series of events and a radio program on an FM radio station founded by DJ Erik (Irakli Miskhadze). The author's program on Megapolis FM existed for many years in Russia, supporting golden age hip-hop music. After that DJ Erik founded the music label Ruff Cutz supporting the historical legacy of previous Ruff Cutz music projects. DJ Erik is Russian scratching champion, winner of the Ortofon DJ contest in Frankfurt, he is a big fan of jazz and funk sound which affects the format of his label. The head of the label Ruff Cutz is DJ Maxdubs (Maksim Emelin), producer, vinyl and electronic music collector and event organizer. One of the first artists of Ruff Cutz label is Max Tau aka Maxim Ilyakhov known in Russia as an author of several bestselling books. Another musician of the label is Shinny Radio, a break music master from Izhevsk.
