NI Traktor Pro is switching to paid subscription updates. Alas, more and more products and services are changing monetization to a subscription model. Native Instruments translates program updates to new conditions starting with the Pro 3.6 version

A Traktor Pro Plus subscription will give you access to fresh packages, tools and new features. For example, now it is a software drum machine with TR-808 samples and a 16-step sequencer, iZotope Ozone Maximizer and some other plugins. They promise to replenish the list.

License holders who decide not to subscribe will receive major updates, but this will happen less often. Subscribers will have access to new features and tools immediately after the release. The subscription cost is $5 per month and $49 per year.
